Moar Family Time
Watching Victor/Victoria with my dad. Saw this movie once before as a kid, did not fully appreciate it’s greatness. It had to have had a major impact on my concept of gender. Oh my God, Julie Andrews. She’s so thin white duke. I love her. My dad is totally into the story. And asking me questions about drag queens.

Family Time
My family is together for Christmas and my parents are fighting over what to watch on TV. My mum wants to watch This Old House. My dad wants to watch figure skating. We all come together for Poirot though, and then I put everyone off with my enthusiastic Poirot/Hastings shipping. =D

New Year's Resolution
It’s early, but I’m going to have to psych myself up for this one. Since I’ve spent most of my life compromising and deferring and bowing to the wishes of others, I resolve in 2011 to stop that nonsense. Good, isn’t it? I wonder how I go about doing it.

First step.
I’ve got an appointment with my doctor for January 10th to see about getting on testosterone. I have no idea if she’ll be willing to help me out on an informed consent basis or not, but I have to start somewhere.

– Isaiah 49:15 My mum used to be my biggest ally, but since I came out as trans she has done a complete 180º. She is the only person so far who has reacted badly. God has been totally supportive.
